a girl once stared at the blanket of stars hovering above her head. all seemed to glimmer brightly, trying to impress her. since then, she always gazed at those glowing seeds up in the sky. it was her world.
one unusual night, the clouds had seemingly eaten up those microscopic creatures that gave spark to her life. "where have all the stars gone?" the frowning girl muttered. then this tiny star, compared to others, magically appeared after the chasing clouds covering it had gone. she couldn't help but stare at its glow---so bright, so promising, so lovely.
the girl was captivated by the star, which she named lucero. all that matters to her now is lucero. she wouldn't mind not seeing the entire field of glowing seeds that once captured her heart. she'd given up her entire sky of happiness for that single star that just caught her attention.
she was happy for a couple of weeks. excited whenever darkness would conquer the world.
but then, another unusual night came. she waited for ages and lucero was no where to be found. she'd done this for more several days and ended up shattered.
just like her overused and callused heart, given up everything for a love that she knew perfectly well would never be hers. ###
